Timing Chains / Belt Drives

Timing chains drive the camshaft and keep it turning in time with the crankshaft, keeping the valves opening and closing at the right time. Teague Custom Marine uses high performance timing chains from Rollmaster and GM on hydraulic valvetrain engines, and Jesel Timing Belt Drive systems on high RPM solid roller engines. Breaking a timing chain will destroy all of your valves, make sure to select a high performance marine engine rated timing setup!
