IMCO is a top name in many high performance marine segments, including high performance marine exhaust mufflers. Their Gatlin line of stainless steel exhaust mufflers, available in through transom, clamp on, and removable insert installation options, utilize rings of stainless steel screen instead of restrictive diverter plates or baffles. This design uses the behavior of the water in the exiting exhaust to muffle engine noise. Teague Custom Marine has tested Gatlin Muffler 5" slip in inserts on multiple pairs of 1200 EFI's with zero top speed loss.
