These High Torque/High Performance drive plates set the standard in design and strength. Proven in regional, national and world championship offshore powerboats. Engineered for maximum durability, each Innovation drive plate assembly incorporates a spring-loaded gear center hub. This allows four degrees of dampening movement in each direction before the gear teeth on the hub lock against those on the drive plate. Eight chrome-vanadium springs dampen to over 1,000 ft./lbs. of torque.
