H-Series Bearings, originally developed for use in racing, are ideal for all types of high-performance competition engines.  H-Series bearings have a medium level of eccentricity, and high crush the rod bearings feature a hardened steel back with thin overlay. H-Series rod and main bearings have an enlarged chamfer to clear the larger radii to fillet common in marine racing crankshafts and are made without flash plating for better seating.  The main bearings are available with standard 180 degrees upper half grooving.  TCM recommends using H-Series bearings on crankshafts with oversized journal fillets, and medium to high RPM range engines. Part number CLE 1282P and  CLE 1281P are good choices for crankshafts with standard radii fill Series Main Bearings are best suited for hardened racing crankshafts.
