Teague Custom Marine uses Manley Severe Duty Intake Valves and Extreme Duty Inconel Exhaust Valves in all high performance pleasure and race applications where stainless steel valves are used. Manley introduced this line of high performance valves in response to an epidemic of failures with stock and competitor’s valves. Inconel has demonstrated its superiority at the elevated operating temperatures in extreme racing conditions, such as offshore. Manley intake valves are manufactured with NK844 materials, where its strength and toughness combats the fatigue and cracking frequently experienced with other manufacturers' copies.
